This feels GOOD!!!!!

Updated to say that this photo was taken 3 weeks after being diagnosed with COVID-19 and I had been on Optavia and along with fever and mild respiratory symptoms, I had the bad GI symptoms with Covid-19.  Being under 200 still felt great and I hope to get back there again one day.  

 

going back to Weight Watchers

I am so grateful for the jumpstart that I got from Optavia, but I am glad to be back at WW with my friends at the Friday Morning Weight Watchers of Wolfchase.  Just like the old Weight watchers saying, "we are better together".  

I am so grateful to my Optavia coach and the work buddies who are on this journey with me.  I appreciate their support so much.  

 

Diet Coke

 

If you know me at all you know that I LOVE diet coke.  I drink it every day. I actually never drank anything except Diet Coke.

Well, that all changed August 9th.  I had been on Optavia for a little over a week and my taste changed and diet coke tasted AWFUL!!!

I have only had water or Crystal Light since then.

I have an emotional attachment to it and I miss having it, but it just tastes terrible.  I have tried lots of other diet soft drinks, but they are just not the same.  

Optavia

With Optavia, you have 5 "fuelings" per day and one "lean and green" meal per day that you prepare.  They don't call them snacks, because they are tiny and just enough to keep your body "fueled".  I have never been so happy to see a piece of grilled fish and brussels sprouts in my life, ha!!!  But it works and I have been losing weight.  I know it is not sustainable, but enough to jump start me so I can go back to weight watchers.  

They recommend you buy a waffle maker for some of the "fuelings".  I bought a dash waffle maker.  It was tiny, but I love it.

To say I got off track would be an understatement!!

I did really well with Weight Watchers until about 2018.  I continued to go every Friday, but essentially maintained, then in 2019, I started to gain.  I continued going, but never tracked or even pretended I was trying to be on a diet.

During the pandemic of 2020 - Covid 19 - the WW studios shut down and they only had virtual ZOOM meetings.  I was not a fan and had no accountability of standing on the scale in front of anyway, so my weight continue to go up.

Every "decade" of weight, I'd think, well I won't go over 210, or 220, or finally 230.

My friend at work had lost weight pretty quickly using Optavia.  I decided to do that to jumpstart my weight loss and then get back to weight watchers.  

I started Optavia August 1st, 2020.
